I am the wife of a retired physician, a mother of three married daughters, a grandmother of 9, but most importantly, I am a Christ follower who strives to be ever devoted to Jesus Christ. In the following encouragement of the apostle Paul I find my greatest desire and purpose, “…I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you…” (II Timothy 1:6).

I am a retired Global Outreach missions director of a large church near Chicago who sends hundreds of individuals around the world to serve. In that role and many others I have had over the years,  I challenged others to use the gifts given to them by God, that in love and the power of the Holy Spirit, they might make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:18-20).  This is my heart’s cry.
